We Beseech Thee, Hear Us

We saw a car accident on the way home just now. It looked pretty serious - police cars and a fire truck. There was no ambulance yet, so the officers were tending to someone on the ground. I told Sadie we needed to say a quick prayer, so we did.

When we finished, Sadie said, "Mommy, I have a question and when I am done, I want you to say 'That's a good question' because it is a good question, okay?"

"So, what if someone else is praying at the same time you are? I mean, are there two Jesuses that can listen to both prayers or is there just one and he can only listen to one at a time?"
