When Sadie was writing her letter to Santa yesterday, she had already ended it then remembered something she wanted to ask for. She got upset, but then I told her to simply write "p.s." and whatever else she needed to add (and gave her a quick explanation).

So, but of course, this is how she ended her bedtime prayer last night:

"In Jesus' name, Amen. P.S. Lord, I don't want to have a baby........ It's too painful. Amen."

This would have baffled me except that, a few weeks ago, while she and I were riding in the car on our way home from school, she announced that she was "ready to have a child."

I guess the idea seemed less appealing now and she wanted to be sure God was aware of her latest decision?
